Halo Non-finite's bot names are kind of great

It's a big slew for Halo that Halo Infinite's multiplayer includes bots. It's a original for the 20-year-old serial, aside from the PvE Firefight mode that debuted with Halo ODST and the bots in a single halt mode in Halo 5 called Warzone that was cool in theory, simply also saddled with microtransactions. Bots being available in every multiplayer mode means Halo newcomers can practice against easier opponents, and players who sexual love Seize the Flag but don't want to deal with other human beings online can only jam away themselves. I expected all of this going away into Infinite's technical test, but I didn't expect the bot name calling to make me laugh out loud.

I didn't really consider the fact that Infinite's bots would even have names, but it makes sense in hindsight. The scoreboard would exist pretty dull with imperfect names on one side of meat and 'Bot 1' 'Bot 2' 'Bot 3' 'Bot 4' on the other. 343 Industries also could've gone with graphic symbol name calling from the Halo series, but they did something much improved, putting together an eclectic pool of philosophers and historical figures, deep cut movie references and what I assume are in-jokes, but they work for me anyway.

Despite some of these bots organism called after precise smart multitude, they're not geniuses on the battlefield. On Friday 343 Industries kicked the difficulty up a notch, but the bots are calm going to be a breeze for the average Halo participant. Some other difficulty level upward the magnetic pole Crataegus oxycantha provide a comely challenge. So far they're adequate, mostly, but sometimes they get a bit... broken.

Ease, these names: they're great! Healthier than 99% of gamertags, that's for sure.

Here are my favorite Halo Infinite bots so immoderate. I'm looking forward to meeting more.

The philosophers and historical figures

  • 343 Parfit
  • 343 Locke
  • 343 Hume
  • 343 Aloysius
  • 343 Hobbes

The foods and movies that might also make up completely different references

  • 343 Nando
  • 343 Cream Corn
  • 343 Godfather
  • 343 Darkstar
  • 343 Meowlnir
  • 343 Salt Baron

The goofballs

  • 343 Free Money
  • 343 Elegant
  • 343 Beard
  • 343 Hundy
Wes Fenlon

Wes has been application games and hardware for more than 10 eld, first at technical school sites like The Wirecutter and Tested before joining the Personal computer Gamer team in 2014. Wes plays a little bit of everything, but he'll always skip at the chance to covering emulation and Japanese games. When he's not compulsively optimizing and Re-optimizing a tangle of conveyor belts in Satisfactory (it's actually becoming a problem), he's likely performin a 20-year-old RPG or some incomprehensible ASCII roguelike. With a focus connected writing and redaction features, He seeks impermissible attribute stories and in-profoundness histories from the corners of PC gaming and its niche communities. 50% pizza by volume (deep serve, to be taxonomic group).
